Brief description: The consortium comprising Latinoconsult was responsible for the construction and expansion of transformer stations and the laying of 500 kV AC extra-high voltage lines with a maximum capacity of 1,150 MW, between the stations of El Bracho (Tucumán) and Cobos (Salta), between Cobos and San Juancito (Jujuy), and between Cobos and Monte Quemado (Santiago del Estero). Total 630 km. The work included the review of the contractor’s socio-environmental management plan and monitoring of its implementation.

Formosa Treatment Plant

Name: Technical and Environmental Inspection Services for the “Construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for the City of Formosa” Project
Brief description: Its treated effluent will be pumped to the Riacho Oro, approximately 2,600 m away, with the pipeline route running along the flood defense barrier itself. The project’s design flow rates are 0.554 m³/sec for a 10-year horizon and 0.93 m³/sec for a 20-year horizon. The hydro-electromechanical works involve 6,235 m³ of concrete. The project has benefited a population of 184,000 inhabitants.

Chocón – Cerros Colorados Hydroelectric

Name: Chocón – Cerros Colorados Hydroelectric Plants
Brief Description: The comprehensive project for the Chocón-Cerros Colorados complex ranged from technical and economic feasibility studies to the development of the final project and the bidding documents. The construction of these works responded to various strategic needs, the most important of which were: flow regulation and flood control, water utilization, hydroelectric power generation, and social and recreational development.
The documented work comprised several key stages:
-Feasibility Studies: Basic hydrological, geological, and topographic analyses were conducted.
-Final Project: Technical reports, detailed plans, technical specifications for construction, administrative specifications, and the works budget were prepared.

Zárate – Brazo Largo Bridge Complex

Name: Executive project for the land connection with Mesopotamia. Zárate-Brazo Largo Complex.
Brief description: As part of the assignment, the firm prepared the designs for the superstructure and road and rail infrastructure, including the new Zárate station and complementary foundation artwork. Prior to the design phase, the firm also undertook the direction of topographical investigations, drilling, and the discovery of materials necessary for construction, as well as geotechnical and material strength testing.

On-shore and off-shore oil exploitation

Name: Supervision of on-shore and off-shore facilities for offshore oil exploration.
Brief description: 65 km of underwater pipelines for crude oil, gas, and water; an onshore crude oil treatment plant on the Cullen River, comprising: a 40,000 BPD treatment plant, an oil reservoir consisting of three 20,000 m³ tanks each, two gas compression plants with a capacity of 250,000 m³/day each, and three water injection plants with a capacity of 80 m³/hour each. Buildings, offices, warehouses, etc., and a berthing pier.

Name: Sewage outfall in the Río de la Plata
Brief description: The design included a subfluvial outfall in the Río de la Plata, measuring 3.8 m in diameter and 7.5 km in length, of which 3 km correspond to the diffuser. The maximum flow rate is 33 m³/s. The studies included: geotechnical survey design and construction supervision; hydraulic design and economic optimization of the conduit, diffusers, and ports; analysis of construction methods; design of the foundation and necessary structures; buoyage requirements; design and optimization of initial dilution in shallow waters (Cormix software); preparation of bidding documents.

Urban infrastructure and coastal treatment of the City of Posadas

Name: Technical construction management, project review, development of executive projects, supervision, and contract administration for the International Nexo project.
Brief description: The works included: Road and river works: divided into several sectors, such as transportation lanes, a multi-track highway, access roads, and a bypass; a bridge over the Garupá stream, 840 meters long with vehicle and pedestrian walkways, allowing navigation underneath; railway works: 10,400 meters of railway tracks were installed; Yacyretá Reservoir, which included coastal defenses, dredging, installation of infrastructure networks (sewage, water, energy), and a complete redesign of the urban layout (streets, sidewalks, lighting, etc.); environmental management with the preparation and monitoring of an environmental impact study.
