Type of Work: Technical assistance and inspection of the works. 

The NEA-NOA Interconnection includes the construction of a series of energy transportation and transformation works in northern Argentina. The works include the Engineering and Consulting services of the specialty to carry out the Technical Assistance and the Technical and Environmental Inspection of the Works of the Norte Grande Electric Transmission System (LEAT 500 KV and Associated Transformer Stations). They have been divided into two parts, the northwest and the northeast. The consortium that integrates Latinoconsult was in charge of those corresponding to the northwest, called Item I and include the construction and expansion of transformer stations and the laying of Extra High Voltage Lines (LEAT) of 500 kV in alternating current with a maximum capacity of 1,150 MW , between the stations of El Bracho (Tucumán) and Cobos (Salta), between Cobos and San Juancito (Jujuy) and between Cobos and Monte Quemado (Santiago del Estero). Total 630 km. The work included the review of the Contractor’s socio-environmental Management Plan and the monitoring of its implementation.
