Name: Comprehensive utilization of the Colorado river’s water resources
Brief Description: Climatological and hydrological studies of the Colorado River basin (134,000 km²). Design of a multiple water resource utilization scheme that included two alternatives with their respective stages: irrigation of controlled areas, river irrigation, and construction of regulation and diversion dams. The net irrigated area was 1,100,000 ha. The installed capacity in the possible uses was 560 MW and the annual energy was 30,906 Wh.
