Port and Marina of Punta del Este

Type of work: Hydrology and hydraulics studies. Elaboration of executive project.

Works: port, residential and other facilities, in the vicinity of the Del Potrero stream, on the eastern coast of the Río de la Plata, between Punta Ballena and Punta Rasa, in Uruguay. Port facilities: breakwaters and naval access works for sports boats; interior channels; tablestacados; port equipment; mooring design. Residential works: hostel building, club house, various buildings; networks for the provision of drinking water and sewers; streets; electrical and telephone networks; air conditioning installations. 

Comprehensive Urban Drainage Project for towns of Buenos Aires and Santa Fe

– BIM modeling with LOD 200 scope of drinking water, sewage, and stormwater networks.

– 3D coordination and interference analysis.

The work consisted of the study of an expansion for the water network of the neighborhoods of Villanueva, 9 de Julio, Dallera, Las Acacias, La Josefa, and downtown Campana, as well as the sewage network of those. Likewise, a diagnostic study of the drainage network will be carried out and a Comprehensive Plan will be prepared for the towns of Santa Lucía, Rio Tala, Gdor. Castro and San Pedro in the Province of Bs As and in the town of Villa Constitución in the Province of Santa Fe.

Hospital: General de Agudos “Donación F. Santojanni”

Type of work: Direction and Technical Inspection of Works 

The works of the hospital, located in the City of Buenos Aires, included the construction of Work of the bodies: Administration and Clinics, Expansion of the Kinesiology Service, Expansion of the 1st floor on existing slab, Expansion of on-call medical dormitories, Nucleus 1 (New stretcher lifts). The total covered area is 7,200 m², including all facilities such as electricity, medical gases, air conditioning, sanitary facilities, etc. and medical and non-medical equipment. The technical-administrative control of the works was carried out and demanded that they be carried out within the required quality standards and in accordance with the best engineering practices; observing all protection measures and recommendations aimed at eliminating or mitigating possible negative impacts on the environment.

Irrigation El Cadillal

Type of work: Feasibility report.

Feasibility report for the development of an area of 100,000 ha, with irrigated and rainfed crops. Currently irrigated area of 37,000 ha and expansion of it to 20,000 ha more. The tasks carried out included the following aspects: agricultural, topographic, hydraulic, cadastral, edaphological, economic and social.

Executive Project for Provision of Drinking Water Surroundings Hermoso Campo

Type of Work: Basic Studies, Executive Project, Descriptive and Technical Report, Calculation and Budget, Preparation of Specifications and Technical Specifications for Bidding. Modeling in GIS and BIM.

  • BIM modeling with LOD300 scope of drinking water networks and complementary structures to the infrastructure.
  • 3D coordination and interference analysis.

The Executive Projects of the Potable Water Systems (networks, household connections, treatment, if necessary, storage, etc.) were carried out and completed for the Towns of General Capdevila (1,300 inhabitants), Itin (994 inhabitants), Hermoso Campo (8,059 inhab), Corzuela (19,729 inhab) and General Pinedo (21,835 inhab).

Executive project for the construction of a railway yard, junction and bridge in the town of Oliveros

Type of Work: Socio-environmental and economic study, Measurements, Executive Project and Bid Documentation

  • BIM modeling with scope LOD300 railway maneuvering area that includes the railway layout, internal roads, access routes and vehicular bridge structures.
  • 3D coordination and interference analysis.

The works covered aspects related to institutional/legal, engineering, topographical, geotechnical, economic, environmental, cadastral surveying and documentation studies that have allowed the call for tenders to execute the works corresponding to the future Oliveros railway yard, a new railway branch towards Timbúes port, railway bridge over the Carcarañá river and the new vehicular bridge over National Road 11.

  • Length of railway infrastructure designed: 26,000 m.
  • Length of bridge designed over the Carcarañá River: 100 m.
  • Vehicle bridge length NR 11: 65 m plus access ramps of 1000 m in total length.

Provision of drinking water, sewage and storm drains in the area of Río Primero

The purpose of the study was to provide the towns of Arroyito (S), Calchin (S), Carrilobo (WS), Colonia Almada (S), Colonia Videla (P), Diego de Rojas (SP), El Arañado (SP), Impira (WP), Matorrales (ASP), Río Primero (S), Sacanta (S), Salsipuedes (WS), Santa Rosa de Río Primero (WSP), Toro Puijó (WS), Villa del Rosario (P), Pampayasta Sud (S), Costa Sacate (WS), Valle Hermoso (WP) and James Craik (S), of the primary infrastructure executive projects, being W: water; S: Sewer: and P: Pluvial.

Program for the Development of Bovine and Sheep Livestock in Morocco

Type of work: Comprehensive livestock program 

Diagnosis of sheep and bovine meat and milk production; its incidence in the different regions: races and characteristics; driving; production costs; technical and financial assistance; commercialization. Producer surveys.

General program for the development of livestock with the setting of objectives at 1, 2, 5 and 20 years. Concrete recommendations for action.

Specific programs Milk; Breeding and Fattening; meat production in irrigated areas; Sheep, etc.

Analysis of existing meat processing plants (cattle, sheep, goats and camelids). Specific recommendations for its improvement. Investment calculation. Improvement of the cold chain.

General Belgrano Plant – New Raw Water Lifting Station – 1st Stage

Execution of a pumping basin, the construction of a chamber and bypass conduit, a connection chamber and a suction chamber with provision and assembly of 3 electric pumps of 6 m³/sec, with all the necessary electromechanical installation for its operation and the respective industrial warehouse.

In addition, an underground conduit to a future partitioning chamber.

Port works Marina Punta del Este – Stage I

Marina Punta del Este

Type of Work: Engineering Study, Analysis of Layout Alternatives, Final Port Works Design.

The port works for the Punta del Este Marina near El Potrero Creek, between Punta Ballena and Punta Rasa, Uruguay, were developed by Latinoconsult in 1990. The design was modified for reasons beyond the control of Chihuahua Club S.A., necessitating modifications to the original design. These significant changes had to be evaluated; therefore, a series of design alternatives were analyzed to achieve acceptable internal unrest within the port area and develop the selected design at the Final Design Level. This design included the engineering of the riverbank defenses consisting of 2,530 m of sheet piling and 500 m of breakwaters.
