San Victorino Transmilenio Station

Type of Work: Supervision and control of technical, administrative, financial and environmental management. 

Technical, administrative, financial and environmental supervision of the design adjustments and construction of the San Victorino Intermediate Station, located on Avenida Jiménez by the Caracas trunk for the Transmilenio system in Bogotá D.C. The work included the review of the Contractor’s socio-environmental Management Plan and the monitoring of its implementation.

Costa Urbana Development, Buenos Aires

Costa Urbana is a project in a new urban space with the uses and services necessary for community life, located in a natural setting characterized by its rich flora and fauna.

Of the total 72 hectares of the property, located at Av. España 2230/2240, the development will cover 20% of the area, and the Public Use Park, ceded to the City of Buenos Aires, will cover the remaining 52%. The latter includes the development of approximately 2 km of coastline.

Conservation of the trunk arterial road network, in the city of Bogotá D.C. Group number 3

Type of Work: Work supervision.

Supervision of the conservation works of the main arterial road network corresponding to Group 3 of the city of Bogotá. This group is made up of six trunk lines: Calle 6, Américas, Calle 13, Caracas, Carrera 10 and the El Tunal branch. The estimated total area of ​​the intervention is 153,748 m2 (44 km per lane).

Supervision of the environmental and social management of the Contractor is included.

Provision of drinking water and sewerage in La Rioja and Córdoba

Type of Work: Basic studies, Executive Project, Descriptive and Technical Report, Calculation and Budget, Preparation of Specifications and Technical Specifications for Bidding, Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Management Plan and Financial Economic Analysis.

– BIM modeling with LOD 300 scope of drinking water and sewage networks; Plant structures, pumping stations and complementary structures to the infrastructure.

The executive projects of the drinking water systems (networks, home connections, study of sources, treatment, if necessary, storage, etc.) were carried out for the towns of Dean Funes (21,211 inhabitants) and Sañogasta (1,805 inhabitants). The executive project of the complete sewage system (networks, pumping stations, treatment plant, discharge to receiving body, etc.) for the town of Milagro (3,494 inhabitants) was developed.

The technical-administrative control of the works was carried out and demanded that they be carried out within the required quality standards and in accordance with the best engineering practices; observing all protection measures and recommendations aimed at eliminating or mitigating possible negative impacts on the environment.

Cerro Dragón combined cycle plant

Type of work: Inspection of work, control and certification of progress, inspection of civil works, electromechanics, assembly and commissioning 

The work consists of an expansion of the electric power generation capacity of the current generation plant located within the Cerro Dragón field, made up of 2 gas turbogenerators of 40 MW each. The expansion consists of 2 stages: • Stage 1: Installation of 2 turbogenerators with gas fuel, mobile aero-derivative turbines of 20 MW each. This stage lasts for 6 months. • Stage 2: It is the central stage consisting of closing the combined cycle by adding heat recovery boilers to generate steam in an 80 MW turbine, taking the installed power of the current plant from 80 to 160 MW. The work is carried out according to the “turnkey” modality, which includes engineering, supplies, civil and electromechanical works, assembly, commissioning and start-up. The duration of this stage is 21 months once Stage 1 is completed. The work is carried out on a construction site of approx. 800 x 375 m, with a maximum installation height of 60 m.

Highway CA-5 North – Comayagua Valley

Type of Work: Feasibility Study and Final Design for Construction. 

Determination of the technical and economic feasibility and environmental studies of the execution of the Start-End improvement works project of the Comayagua Valley, with an approximate length of 29.6 km. The purpose of the study was to improve the capacity of the highway, through road duplication, crossings at different levels and other road improvements. The tasks carried out were the following: Road inventory; Volumetric censuses. Speed studies; Origin and destination surveys; Socioeconomic characteristics of the study area; Determination of rates for traffic projections; Study of alternatives; Economic evaluation of the global plan; Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA); Topographic surveys; Economic-financial feasibility and Cargo Censuses.

Sweep and Trash Audit Service

Type of work: Service Quality Audit. 

Latinoconsult provided the audit service for waste collection, street sweeping and cleaning in Zone 7 (corresponding to communes 3 and 4) of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The neighborhoods that made up these communes were: San Cristóbal, Balvanera, La Boca, Barracas, Parque Patricios, and Nueva Pompeya. To provide the service, there was a team of auditors who mobilized 24 hours x 7 days x 365 days to reveal deficiencies and requests regarding the quality of the concessionaire. To this end, its own software was developed, which worked through an app for smartphones, which allowed information to be collected in the field and shared with the client through the cloud, providing a personalized control panel with indicators, statistics and levels. quality of service.

Multipurpose Exploitation Nahueve

Type of work: Engineering Services for the review and approval of the detailed project and construction inspection. 

The contract includes the review of the detailed engineering and the inspection of all the civil works of the catchment, conduction channel, the loading chamber and its relief channel, the hydroelectric generation plant, the restitution channel and its corresponding accesses, the hydromechanical elements for its correct operation, such as bars, gates, cofferdams, penstock, overhead crane, lifting elements, electrical power and lighting installations, auxiliary, electrical and mechanical systems, etc. It also includes the 33 kV transmission line for interconnection to the Andacollo-Las Ovejas LMT and the assembly of all the consigned elements corresponding to the generation equipment, consisting of the turbines, generators, main transformers and their auxiliaries.

Michihuao Hydroelectric Development

Type of Work: Review and adaptation of the bidding documentation. 

Review and update of the documentation to tender the works of the Michihuao Hydroelectric Plant, 630 mW, located on the Limay River, between Pichi Picún Leufú and Lake E. Ramos Mexía, in Las Pcias. of Río Negro and Neuquén. The characteristics of the exploitation are: • Dam of loose materials, 7.7 km long. • Three generator sets of 210 MW each.
