San Victorino Transmilenio Station

Type of Work: Supervision and control of technical, administrative, financial and environmental management. 

Technical, administrative, financial and environmental supervision of the design adjustments and construction of the San Victorino Intermediate Station, located on Avenida Jiménez by the Caracas trunk for the Transmilenio system in Bogotá D.C. The work included the review of the Contractor’s socio-environmental Management Plan and the monitoring of its implementation.

Conservation of the trunk arterial road network, in the city of Bogotá D.C. Group number 3

Type of Work: Work supervision.

Supervision of the conservation works of the main arterial road network corresponding to Group 3 of the city of Bogotá. This group is made up of six trunk lines: Calle 6, Américas, Calle 13, Caracas, Carrera 10 and the El Tunal branch. The estimated total area of ​​the intervention is 153,748 m2 (44 km per lane).

Supervision of the environmental and social management of the Contractor is included.

Highway CA-5 North – Comayagua Valley

Type of Work: Feasibility Study and Final Design for Construction. 

Determination of the technical and economic feasibility and environmental studies of the execution of the Start-End improvement works project of the Comayagua Valley, with an approximate length of 29.6 km. The purpose of the study was to improve the capacity of the highway, through road duplication, crossings at different levels and other road improvements. The tasks carried out were the following: Road inventory; Volumetric censuses. Speed studies; Origin and destination surveys; Socioeconomic characteristics of the study area; Determination of rates for traffic projections; Study of alternatives; Economic evaluation of the global plan; Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA); Topographic surveys; Economic-financial feasibility and Cargo Censuses.

Carranza Tunnel

Name: Project review and inspection of the works at the crossing of Santa Fe – Cabildo Avenues, under the FC Mitre railway tracks.
Brief description: The works consisted of an underpass for 4 lanes of traffic, with a total length of 687 m, contemplating a railway bridge with 2 spans of 13.00 m each for 2 tracks, and two road bridges for Dorrego and Arévalo streets of 16.00 m span each.

Urban Public Transport in the City of Corrientes

Type of Work: Direction and general coordination of the project, elaboration of the executive projects of the works. 

Review of the conceptual design prepared in 2010 and adjusted in 2014. Preparation of the executive project for the construction of the Chacabuco transfer station, intermediate stations, exclusive lanes for public transport on Av. 3 de Abril and preferential lanes in the central area. The work includes a socio-environmental impact study.

Metropolitan Transportation of the city of Posadas

Name: Feasibility study for integration terminals of the Integrated Transport System.
Brief description: An origin-destination survey was conducted in about 2,000 households in the municipalities of Posadas, Garupá, and Candelaria. In addition, traffic counts were carried out in specific areas. Transcad transport software was used. The transfer station and the exclusive lanes of the main access roads to it were designed. The work included a socio-environmental impact study.

Name: Executive project for National Route No. 81.
Brief description: The tasks included topographic survey, soil and material studies, environmental impact studies, geometric design, structural pavement design, drainage design, horizontal and vertical signage, descriptive report, metric calculations, price analysis and official budget, technical specifications, bidding documents, and offer form.

Executive project for the construction of a railway yard, junction and bridge in the town of Oliveros

Name: Compilation of feasibility background, socio-environmental and economic analysis, and development of the final design for the construction of a rail yard, junction, and bridge.
Brief description: The work covered necessary institutional, legal, engineering, topographical, geotechnical, economic, and environmental aspects, among others, to launch a bidding process for the execution of the works corresponding to the future Oliveros Rail Yard.
BIM modeling with LOD300 scope for the rail yard, including the railway layout, internal roads, access routes, and vehicular bridge structures.
3D coordination and clash detection.

Name: Inspection of the work: National Route No. 14, section 2, junction with Provincial Route “J” (Colonia Elía), junction with Provincial Route No. 29, Section 1: Junction with Provincial Route “J” (Colonia Elía) – Arroyo Colman.
Brief description: The work consisted of duplicating the roadway of National Route No. 14. The total length of this work section is 34,781.98 m. The contract sector includes 4 bridges. Technical-administrative control of the works was carried out to ensure they are performed within the required quality standards.

National Route No. 23

Name: Supervision of the work on National Route No. 23, Section: Ing. Jacobacci-Comallo. Section I: km 0.00-km 45.00.
Brief description: Inspection of a 45 km long road work with two bridges. The work consisted of the new construction of National Route No. 23, as an integral part of the east-west corridor. All technical and administrative activities necessary to ensure compliance with the contract, designs, specification documents, and projects were carried out.
