Aña Cua Hydroelectric Power Plant Inspection

Type of Work: Inspection of Civil Works, Assembly and Commissioning of Hydromechanical and Electromechanical Equipment. 

The service consists of the execution of all tasks related to the Inspection of Civil Works, Assembly and Commissioning of Hydromechanical and Electromechanical Equipment, certification of progress, quality management, industrial safety and other aspects of the Expansion works of the Yacyretá Hydroelectric Power Plant in the Aña Cua branch.

Mitre Railway Viaduct

Type of Work: Preliminary Project and Technical Study of Environmental Impact 

The work includes the Draft Project and the Environmental Impact Study for the construction of the Miter Railroad Viaduct, which proposes to integrate the volume of the viaduct into the urban space. The elimination of the level crossings will allow an increase in the speed and frequency of the formations. It will start from the current elevation of the road at the intersection of Av. Dorrego to the Belgrano C station, from which the descent of the track will begin to connect with the current roads in the area near Congress Street. The current Lisandro de la Torre and Belgrano C stations must be developed at a high level, including the corresponding building modifications.

Puerto Madero Urban Development

Type of work: Executive project and direction and inspection of the works. 

Basic project, executive project and construction management of the infrastructure and services, of an urbanization in an area of approximately 125 ha, located east of Dikes 4 of the old Puerto Madero of the City of Buenos Aires. Sewer drains, Pavements of avenues and streets with 13 km in length, Horizontal and vertical demarcation and light signaling, Drinking water, Storm drains, Electric power in medium and low voltage (85 mW), Natural gas. Telephony, Cable TV, Data Transmission, Public Lighting.

NQS Transmilenio – Bogotá

Type of work: Review of detailed engineering, direction and inspection of works and maintenance. 

Technical, administrative, financial and environmental supervision of the design adjustments, construction and maintenance of the Av. Troncal NQS to the Transmilenio System of urban passenger transport of Bogotá. The works involved the adaptation of the Trocal NQS, between streets 92 and 68, contemplating 5 lanes in each direction, the implementation of 16 low-level rail crossings and 3 level rail crossings, and the displacement of part of the rail network, in other aspects. The surfaces comprised a total of 108,115 m² of rigid pavement and 23,654 m² of flexible pavement.

Underground River to Lomas and LS Nᵒ 1

Type of work: Construction Inspection 

The contract consists of the Inspection of the construction of the Subterranean River Section I and Elevator Station. The works consist of a pipeline with an internal diameter of 3.90 m and a length of 13.54 km, to be executed by TBM tunneling machine, from the AySA Water Treatment Plant in Bernal, Quilmes district, to the town of Temperley, in the Lomas de Zamora. At the end of the tunnel, a lifting station will be built that will improve the supply of drinking water to the districts of Lomas de Zamora, Almirante Brown and Esteban Echeverría in Greater Buenos Aires.

Chaco – Corrientes Bridge

Type of Work: Project review and construction supervision. 

At the time of its construction, this bridge, reinforced with precast and post-tensioned concrete girder-box elements, was considered the longest in South America. It is a communication route more than 1,600 m long, which crosses the Paraná River, and which has been of fundamental importance for the economic and social relations of the Chaco and Corrientes provinces. The tasks carried out were the review of the preliminary project and assistance in the selection of the contractor. Preparation and supervision of the complementary research program. Executive project of the bridge and accesses (1,670 m of bridge and 1,131 of viaducts. Construction supervision).

Maldonado stream executive project

Type of work: Executive project.

The executive project for the Arroyo Maldonado basin aimed to mitigate flood problems, through:

Increase the catchment capacity of sinks
Increase the capacity of the existing trunk pipeline by means of two 6.90 m diameter relief tunnels (long tunnel, approx. 10 km, and short tunnel, approx. 5 km)
Entabication of 1,177 m of the current outfall
Increase the conduction capacity of secondary collector duct networks through the Construction of 114 new rain ducts (length: 46 km)

Tasks included:

Executive Project with bidding documents and environmental study for the establishment of the main outfall, construction of two relief tunnels and expansion of the network of secondary collectors.
Design and elaboration of the constructive methodologies of tunnels dug manually and with tunnel boring machines, calculation of thrust, nailing of the Derivation Works, anchors, piles and elaboration of geotechnical profiles).
Execution of complementary basic studies.
Socio-economic and financial evaluation of the selected alternative and development of the project, deepening the technical, environmental, urban, institutional and legal studies for the development of structural and non-structural measures.

Highways project- PPP, Buenos Aires

Type of Work: Preliminary Project, Preliminary Project and Executive Project, including field studies (topography and geotechnics). 

The services included the execution of the Preliminary Project, Preliminary Project and Executive Project of the works that the National Directorate of Roads has prescribed in the Bidding Documents for Road Corridor A, on national routes 3, between Las Flores and Coronel Dorrego, and 226, between Mar del Plata and Olavarría. Total length 706 km. The works consisted of 124 km of road duplication, 32 km of variants and 450 km of Safe Route. The services, completed at 30% progress due to lack of funds for the execution of the works, with the signing of a termination agreement, included topographic studies, geotechnical studies on the existing layout and roadways, and resurfacing design.

Paraná de las Palmas Water Plant

Type of Work: Executive project, detailed engineering and technical assistance

The North Area Potabilization System consists of a work whose objective is to provide drinking water to a population of 4,000,000 inhabitants of the North Zone of Greater Buenos Aires, in the AYSA area. The works consist of: a) 2 Intake Works; b) 1 Tunnel 16 km long and 3,600 mm in diameter; c) 1 water treatment plant with a capacity of 900,000 m³ / day; d) 2 large pumping stations and e) 3 aqueducts. 

Fray Bentos pulp mill

Type of work: Comprehensive environmental analysis study. 

Environmental impact assessment of the possible negative effects of pulp mills, quantifying them in a particular way (for c / environmental impact) and globally (due to their possible accumulation and enhancement), highlighting their possible degree of reversibility and the level sensitivity to natural conditions. Specific Objectives: • Quantification and weighting of the environmental effects due to water pollution, due to atmospheric contamination (gases, smells, noise, etc.), or due to alteration of social, economic and cultural aspects; • Economic quantification of the needs for mitigation, restoration, rehabilitation or compensation of the environmental effects on the physical, biological and social environments; • Preparation of an environmental management plan that includes the necessary monitoring, alert and contingency components in the event that the original projects are not modified and that one or more pollution events exceed the forecasts of the companies that own the undertakings. The analyzes and solutions are oriented towards schemes compatible with the ecological, economic, social and cultural sustainability of the region.
